Cut-crystal pepper shaker that dates from 1880-1910 has a round, flat base. The sides, which narrow to the threaded rim, have vertical grooves with pairs of small notches. There are four smooth ovals on the sides. The silver top is pointed and there is a raised vine at the edge. There are six punched holes in the lid. J. C. Beall of Columbus, Ohio, donated this item in 1995.
