Pepper shaker made by the Libbey Glass Manufacturing Co. of Toledo, Ohio, dates from 1936-1955. The shaker has a screw-on mushroom-shaped cap made of stainless steel that is pierced with holes in the shape of a star. The body of the shaker is made of molded clear glass. It has an octagonal base and straight sides that taper slightly toward the top. The letter "L" appears on the bottom. The Ohio Historical Society received this item from White Castle System, Inc. of Columbus, Ohio, in 1995.
