Ceramic sugar shaker made in England dates from 1800-1840. The shaker has a tall cylindrical body with a domed top with a small round knob finial. Punched in the lid are approximately thirty small holes. There is a large hole on the bottom of the shaker to fill it, but no stopper. The shaker is decorated with blue spatter. The Ohio Historical Society received this item from Tom B. Christopher of Greenville, Ohio, in 1977.
