Glass salt or pepper shaker made by the Federal Glass Company of Columbus, Ohio, dates from 1930-1979. The amber-colored shaker has a heavy round base and a threaded rim. A metal cap with thirteen punched holes fits on the top of the shaker. The exterior is decorated with scrolls and beaded swags. The shaker is done in the Madrid pattern of depression glass. The Ohio Historical Society received this item from the Federal Glass Company in 1979.
