Description
9.4 The Shawnee Indians, During the 1600s, Shawnee tribes were scattered from Illinois to Maryland to Georgia. By the early 1700s, many of them gathered in eastern Pennsylvania and began moving west. By 1750, most Shawnee people lived in southern Ohio. They were organized into five divisions, each with its own territory centered on a town.
