PRELIMINARY ARRANGEMENTS.
As early as April, 1890, the citizens of
Gallipolis, through
their Board of Trade, took action to
secure a proper celebration
of the approaching centennial of the
city's settlement. On April
22, 1890, at a meeting of the Board of
Trade, the following
named gentlemen were elected an
Executive Committee of

The organization of the Committee was
