DEATH OF DR. WILLIAM C. MILLS.
While the current issue of the QUARTERLY was
pass-
ing through the press, Dr. William C.
Mills, since 1898
archaeologist and director of the Ohio
State Archaeo-
logical and Historical Society, passed
to his final rest at
midnight, on January 17, 1928. In the
death of Dr.
Mills the Society has sustained a great
loss. The Mu-

years of faithful
and devoted service, is his enduring
monument.
An extended sketch of his life and
services to the
Society and the State, will appear in
the next issue of the
QUARTERLY.
