Announcement
The staff of Ohio History wishes
to announce that, due to budget-
ary restrictions, this issue, Autumn
1981, is the journal's final
appearance as a quarterly publication.
Henceforth, beginning in
October 1982, Ohio History will
be an annual publication. We would
like to emphasize that only the
frequency of publication will change;
the journal, while serving a broad
spectrum of readers interested in
state and regional history, will
continue to specialize in articles
written by professionally trained
members of the academic com-
munity. As has been its policy since it
was first published in 1887,
Ohio History will seek to offer its readership the very best in
histor-
ical monographs and documents relating
to the political, social, eco-
nomic, and cultural history of Ohio and
the Middle West.
