Bequests and Endowments.
Bequests to the Ohio State
Archaeological and Historical So-
ciety may be made in securities, money,
books, or collections of
specimens. They may, if desired, take
the form of a memorial
to a person or cause, to be named by the
giver. Endowments
may be made to the Society with the
provision that an annuity
be paid to the patron during his or her
lifetime. These annuities
are tax-free and are guaranteed against
fluctuation in amount.
Contributions from Benefactors, Patrons
and Life Members shall
constitute a permanent fund under the
supervision of the Board
of Trustees, to be used as the Board may
direct. Such gifts, be-
quests and endowments will be gratefully
received and adequately
administered to the good of all, thus
becoming a lasting and
valued memorial to the donor.
